Non-LMC Notebook Computer Support
Students who choose to bring a computer from home can expect the following support from Technical Support Services (Help Desk):

Registration process which includes installing the Novell Network and Groupwise Email Clients. ITS will verify that the machine has active anti-virus software.
Troubleshooting during the semester for network connection, internet connection and use of campus supported software such as Microsoft Office, Inspiration, Kurzweil and Dragon
Items that are NOT supported for students that bring a computer from home are:
- Hardware repairs
- Hardware troubleshooting
- Unsupported software troubleshooting
- Use of loaner equipment from the Help Desk
- Printer/Scanner/Fax and any other peripheral troubleshooting or repairs

Landmark College will not register a machine unless it has current antivirus softare.
If you are bringing a computer to College which was not purchased through our program, you can drop it off with us during registration, or stop by Tech Support Services upstairs in the Library.
We will try to have it ready for you within 24 hours (weekdays).
