Set or Change your GroupWise password in the client

While the GroupWise client can be instructed to allow access if you are logged into the network, GroupWise WebAccess cannot check for network login. You must set a password in the client in order to use WebAccess.

Possible Consequences of GroupWise Password Change

If you have just changed your GroupWise password, you will need to use the new password when you use GroupWise WebAccess. (the web version)

If Internet Explorer automatically enters your password for you on WebAccess, you will need to hand enter the password over the asterisks that automatically appear when you enter your username in the webpage.
(Explorer will likely ask you if you would like it to remember the new password for you.)

If you have set your passwords in the portal so that it will log you in to WebAccess, you will need to update the password in the portal's My Preferences page.
